Alberto González Plasencia
Bodegas Tunte is the first winery in Gran Canaria to add award-winning Alberto González Plasencia, the second-best enologist in Spain, to its team.
His professional background started at just 19 years of age. His curiosity, creativity and passionate, committed personality have led him to the top of the wine scene in Spain, being the first Spanish enologist to receive two Gold Medals to Excellence for his wonderful sweet wines. In addition, he has been recognized as the 2nd best enologist in our country and the 10th best worldwide.
Born in La Gomera island, his wines have reached many corners of the world, showcasing the gastronomic quality of the Canary Islands. His awards also include two gold medals to excellence, 5 grand gold medals, 55 gold medals, 71 silver medals and 23 bronze medals.
Faithful to its philosophy, Bodegas Tunte is committed to hiring experts such as Alberto González Plasencia, who will undoubtedly contribute to improve and consolidate the quality of Gran Canarian wines.
Alberto González has also been recognized by the XXXIII Awards of Gastronomy Diario de Avisos, which gives awards to professional excellence, creativity, effort, talent, innovation and sustainability in the world of gastronomy.
