Bodegas Tunte TRAVELS TO Alimentaria 2018, THE GREAT INTERNATIONAL GASTRONOMY EVENT IN BARCELONA, WITH PRODUCTS FROM GRAN CANARIA.

The winery has recently received two prestigious Bacchus awards at Concurso Internacional Bacchus 2018.

Starting today, Bodegas Tunte is present with the Gran Canaria and Gran Canaria Me Gusta wines at Alimentaria, the Food, Beverage and Food Service International Show, to promote its exquisite products from the island of Gran Canaria.

Bodegas Tunte brings back two coveted medals from Concurso Bacchus 2018 to the island of Gran Canarias: its Oro Blanco de Tirajana wine, 2017 vintage, has been awarded the Bacchus de Oro; and its Berode wine, 2017 vintage, has been awarded a Bacchus de Plata. In addition, Oro Blanco de Tirajana has received the gold medal at Concurso Oficial Agrocanarias 2018 and another gold medal at the 2018 Lyon International Competition.

With these awards, Bodegas Tunte adds new accomplishments to its long list of recognitions dating back to 2015, including a Baco de Oro for its Berode wine (Premios Baco 2016 and 2017), and Silver (Berode) and Bronze (Oro Blanco de Tirajana) medals at International Wine Challenge 2016. In addition, its Valara and Berode wines have been awarded Gold Medals at Cata Insular de Vinos de Gran Canaria del Cabildo de Gran Canaria (years 2016 and 2017, respectively). A total of 16 awards acknowledge the quality of its wines – a number that keeps on growing.

Bodegas Tunte, located in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria) has committed to producing quality wines, combining tradition and cutting-edge technology. To accomplish this goal, it is joined by experts such as award-winning enologist Alberto González Plasencia, who has received prestigious awards in the Spanish winemaking scene. The Oro Blanco de Tirajana, Berode and Valara wines represent the consolidation of quality among Gran Canarian wines.
